  1. This is a full size aluminium tripod with legs that can be inverted and folded back. Weighing in at 1.2kg and folding down to a tiny 31cm this compact travel tripod from Hahnel will mean that taking a tripod anywhere becomes far more feasible.

    The legs have five sections with twist locks between sections and rubber feet for grip. At the top the legs lock at three different angles, and the tripod is supplied with allen keys for adjustment as needed to the hinges. There is a hanging hook underneath so you can stabilise with extra weight, or keep your camera bag off the floor.

    The tripod is supplied with a ball head with +90/-90˚ orientation and with smooth 360˚ horizontal motion. Two dials allows for precise movement when panning or rotating the head. The quick release dovetail plate locks in place and can be removed easily when needed. Because of the way the legs invert cleverly for storage (above right), this tripod can be easily converted for macro use. Rather than needing to remove the centre column or head you simply flip the legs through 180˚ and the tripod is macro-ready. Supplied with carry case. Max load 3kg.
